I was in a bar last night when a song started playing that I couldn't quite make out. It was clearly something popular with the kids, because a bunch of dudes were singing along (one might even say belting out along.) I was finally able to figure out the song... "She's Like The Wind" by Patrick Swayze, from Dirty Dancing. A song that was last popular around the time these dudes were in diapers or even not-yet-existent.
I guess we sang old songs too when we were in our 20s. Zepplin, and that sort of thing. Still... odd choice.
Of course, the bar had played the theme to The Muppet Show earlier, so I wasn't as surprised that management was playing the song.
