While it appears that unassisted walking is an undertaking that has yet to even occur to PG, her skills at standing up unassisted (other than using the floor to push off and up) have improved noticeably. I was gonna write an excited post after she did it the first time. Now, it's kinda just a thing she does. Well, maybe it's still a little exciting to see. One moment, she's just sitting there in the middle of the floor, and the next she's standing, holding on to nothing but the nitrogen and oxygen that surrounds her. Big girl!
There are actual words being uttered now, but we're not fooling ourselves into thinking that she knows what she's saying. That said, here is an exchange that occurred between M and PG last weekend...
M: Are you a pretty girl?
PG: yeah
M: Is that Pooh?
PG: yeh
M: Are you going to Brooklyn?
PG: yuh
M: Are you going to buy a bridge?
PG: ya
M: Are you going to the moon?
PG: Aaaaaaaalll-BEEFTHS!
In addition to "yeah," PG is still saying "Albie" a lot.
I'm sure there's more to report about the pretty little PG, but it's not coming to mind at the moment. Such is the way with my mind, lately.

Yay PG! Jackie has not yet mastered the art of standing without holding onto something. We're kind of hoping she noodles it out before Dot arrives . . .
LOVED the "First Year" retrospective, by the way. Cheers!
